Following World War 1 quite a few of the troops published war memorial volumes. This work is a memorial volume, too. We can find a description of the troop activities during the war in chapter one, which is followed by paragraphs treating the personal histories, deeds of individual members of the troops, both officers and people in the ranks. Given are the person's profession, place of residence at the time of publication, place and year of birth. Quite often spouse's and child(ren)'s names are listed, as well.
